Pilates Ring
Pilates rings were designed primarily to help build the core muscles. The core muscles consists of the muscles found in the abdomen, back, pelvis and buttocks. Endurance stretching in these core areas will tighten and strengthen the muscles. The Pilates ring is an excellent piece of equipment for doing this.
A Pilates ring is basically used to tone the buttocks and the abdominal and pelvic muscles but can also be used to specifically target muscles in the leg, pecks, lats, triceps and biceps. It is an all around exercise accessory that everyone should have. But there is more to a Pilates ring than merely squeezing; anything done wrongly can cause injury, especially when exercising, so before you start, try to consult a certified Pilates instructor.
Pilates Ring is more popular and widely used mainly because of these four reasons:
* It is handy and portable * Performing Pilates exercises on it is easier * The results are fast and visible * It does not occupy considerable space like the Reformer, Wunda chair, and others * More focused toning, strengthening muscle throughout the body.
